At RKL Wealth Management, our documented Business Continuity Plan (BCP) undergoes review, testing and updating on an annual basis. On March 18, 2020, we activated the BCP and implemented its systems and policies to support employees, maintain stable operations and provide quality client service in the new remote work environment. From mid-March through the date of this publication, we have had no systems issues, nor have we had any disruption with our custodians, technology platforms and other vendors.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, RKL Wealth Management instituted more frequent communication and educational efforts to provide sound guidance and perspective amid changing market conditions. We expanded the channels and methods used to reach clients via our website, web-based presentations, blog content and email alerts, in addition to direct communication via phone, email or web conference.
More frequent internal communication with daily check-ins scheduled across our various teams has increased our agility and responsiveness in serving clients. Rapid adoption of new technology advancements has also been an area of focus to allow us to work more effectively in a remote work situation.
RKL Wealth Management will follow Pennsylvania’s phased approach in reopening offices, and will follow CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our team and you, our valued clients
